Call for Academic Applications

Academic Year 2025-2026

The National School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (NSNN), located in Sidi Abdellah (Algiers), is launching a call for academic applications to strengthen its teaching and research team “Via inter-institutional transfer (MUTATION)”.

Founded in 2023, NSNN is a pioneering public institution dedicated to advanced training and research in nanosciences and nanotechnologies, with a mission to contribute to national and international scientific and technological development.

We are looking for highly motivated and qualified faculty members (Professors, MCA and MCB) with expertise in the following areas:

  • Radiation physics and instrumentation
  • Electronics of Embedded systems
  • Analog and Digital electronics
  • Electronic circuits and systems
  • Electronic Instrumentation and Measurements
  • Communication and Signal Processing
  • Embedded Systems and the Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Micro- and Nanoelectronics
  • Materials Chemistry
  • Solid State Physics and Crystallography
  • Polymer Chemistry
  • Process Engineering / Chemical Engineering
  • Renewable energy and environmental nanotechnologies
  • Nanomaterials and nanostructures
  • Membrane technology

Eligibility & Profile

Applicants must:

  • Hold a PhD in a relevant field;
  • Demonstrate teaching experience or potential;
  • Show strong motivation for contributing to an emerging institution;
  • Be committed to academic excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Fluent in english
